For machine builders

Request spare parts from the drawing.

The customer reads the serial number off the nameplate, taps the item on the exploded view and sends part number and quantity. You receive the request, not a description over the phone.

The day to day

Three reasons the spare part never ships

  1. 01

    Phone, PDF, email

The request arrives however it can. Nothing says which item on the drawing was meant.

  2. 02

    Wrong part number

The nameplate shows the machine, not the wear part. The number given often no longer exists.

  3. 03

    Copy instead of original

People who cannot find the part on the drawing order it somewhere else.

The portal

The drawing carries the bill of materials.

One assembly, the item numbers, the bill of materials. The customer sees only what belongs to that serial number.

  • Tap the item

The hotspot sits on the drawing. Next to it: part number, quantity, and whether the part was superseded.

  • The serial number picks the variant

SN-24-0815 and SN-24-1207 are the same machine, not the same cross seal. The drawing follows the version that was built.

  • Approval before anything goes live

Nothing from the drawing is visible until you release the assembly. Gaps stay marked.

What the import does with the drawing

Recognised item numbers become hotspots. The match against the bill of materials marks hits and gaps.

  • Item 9New compared with the previous drawing
  • Item 10Gap on the drawing
  • Item 11Number without a BOM line
  • Item 12On the previous drawing, now gone

The public demo does not upload a third-party PDF. Real imports run only in the internal tool.

Serial number SN-24-0815 opens cross seal A. SN-24-1207 has a different sealing bar. The KVS 120 case sealer is SN-23-0412 and SN-25-0190.

The data is fictional: Muster Maschinenbau GmbH, VFS 400 vertical form-fill-seal machine.

For the machine builder

  • A request with item, part number and quantity
  • Approval before an assembly goes online
  • Email or CSV. No ERP connection in version 1

For the operator

  • Serial number from the nameplate, then the matching drawing
  • Only the assemblies on that machine
  • Send the request. The quote still comes from you

Process

From the PDF to the request

  1. 01

You send the PDF and the bill of materials

Exploded view, bill of materials, serial numbers. One assembly is enough for the proof.

  2. 02

We place the hotspots, you approve

We match the bill of materials. Nothing goes live before you approve it.

  3. 03

The customer requests by serial number

They read the number on the nameplate, tap the item and send quantity and part number.

  • Hosted in Germany

The portal and the files sit on servers in Germany.

  • You approve it

An assembly becomes visible only after you approve it.

  • Email or CSV into the ERP

The request arrives as email or CSV. A direct ERP connection is not part of version 1.

  • No IT rollout

Your customers open the link and enter the serial number. No change to your systems.
